We are dedicated to our environment and help shape the future - today and tomorrow! It is our vision to ensure that our processes as well as our products are environmentally sustainable. We also continuously modernise our company in order to conserve the available resources and to protect the environment.

Our main focus in this context lies on an efficient energy supply. Sustainability awareness is also a key consideration when it comes to our products: from the selection of our RoHS-compliant materials to the recycling of leftover plastics, all the way to the environmentally friendly disposal of our products - we are paying our share to ensure compliance with our sustainability concept even after our products have left our premises.

horizont will continue to pursue sustainability and actively help in shaping the future! A first and pioneering succes is the launch of the world's first bio-based electric fence housing. It is manufactured from climate-neutral plastic consisting of renewable raw materials. With this new Greenline electric fence, we are focusing on a future-oriented and environmentally friendly product range.

Since our foundation in 1945, we have been following an innovative track. Not only have we been consistently researching and developing new technologies in order to expand the applications for our customers but we have also been constantly improving our processes and thus the quality of our products. For more than 75 years, we have been continuously developing new products which set standards in their respective markets. 
More than 50 patents, registered designs and trademarks are evidence to this fact.

Our economic activities are aimed at producing safety for people and animals. However, as a company with a long tradition, we are also aware of our social responsibility and are engaged in numerous social projects both within the region and beyond national borders.

horizont supports a variety of organizations in their daily work and helps where help is needed. Whether it involves supporting various social institutions or providing assistance in difficult situations or after severe misfortunes – throughout the year, we take numerous opportunities to support various institutions and groups of people with donations of goods or money, or through voluntary work.
