• Checking the quality and quantity of the products to be stored from the incoming goods on the basis of accompanying documents

• Arranging for further transports of the stock taken over to various storage zones or for return shipment due to objectionable quality deficiencies 

• Recording the goods in stock by means of lists or by independently entering the goods receipts into computer-controlled warehouse management systems

• Control of suitable conveying techniques and industrial trucks

• Independently picking, packing and preparing the stored goods for handover to the forwarding agents and freight carriers taking the orders.
