Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)
Are you interested in physics, do you understand technical processes and do you think logically and systematically?
Then training as a mechatronics technician at horizont is just right for you! A mechatronics technician combines the profession of an electrician with that of a mechanic.
Electronics technician (m/f/d)
As an electronics technician, you learn how to plan and implement electronic devices for industrial applications, on production machines and equipment. This requires a lot of patience, care and an understanding of technical processes.
Elektroniker (m/w/d)
Als Elektroniker erlernt man die Planung und Realisierung elektronischer Geräte für industrielle Anwendungen, an Fertigungsmaschinen und Einrichtungen. Dafür benötigt man viel Geduld, Sorgfalt und ein Verständnis für technische Prozesse.
Tool Engineer (m/f/d)
At horizont you can complete your training as a tool mechanic in the field of mould technology. For this, you should have a good spatial imagination, a technical understanding and enjoy metal processing.
Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)
As a technical product designer, you create drawings and 3D data sets for components and assemblies. Logically, you need an interest in mathematics, geometry and technology as well as accuracy and independence.
Process mechanic (m/f/d)
The tasks of a process mechanic mainly consist of manufacturing and processing components as well as quality assurance. For this profession, you should have manual skills, a sense for technical correlations and an exact way of working.
Warehouse Logistics Expert (m/f/d)
As a warehouse logistics specialist, you work with computer-controlled warehouse management systems and special floor conveying techniques such as forklift trucks. During your training, you will learn various storage and transport techniques as well as knowledge regarding the extraction and processing of raw materials up to the final product.
Skilled Warehouse Operator (m/f/d)
Are you a team player, quick on the uptake and have commercial skills? Then training as a Skilled Warehouse Operator is the right thing for you!
There, all the work involved in the movement of goods in the warehouse is waiting for you. For example, you will record further transports of the stock taken over into various storage zones or for return shipment due to rejected quality defects.
Computer Science Expert (m/f/d)
During your training as an Computer Science Expert specialising in systems integration, you will, for example, implement subject-specific requirements in complex hardware and software technology. Your tasks also include installing and configuring networked systems. Of course, you need experience in working with computers, the ability to think abstractly and the ability to concentrate.
Trainee at horizont
At the beginning of each training year, your training starts with our trainee get-to-know days. All new and old trainees get to know each other during team-building games and various outdoor events and learn how important cooperation and cohesion are in a team. In our apprentice workshop, both the technical and the commercial apprentices meet every four weeks to discuss topics related to the apprenticeship or report on project tasks such as:
- Design of our apprentice newspaper "horiZUBI".
- Appearance on Facebook and Instagram
- Participation in training competitions
As an apprentice, you work in a great team, have a challenging area of responsibility that you work on independently and learn how to work responsibly.
